The Prime Time Strategy for Appearing To Give A Damn!

A competent and cognizant leader, a supposed pillar of humanity, shouldn’t require years of public outrage to be prodded into formulating a plan to confront and stop genocide. Barack Obama should have immediately acted once the obvious was verified by his intelligence agencies; that is, women, children and men were being exterminated beneath the flag of ISIS long before the viral beheading of two American journalists. Announcing a prime time press conference a day later and a dollar short is nothing more than a desperate attempt at damage control in order to appear more presidential. If you’re going to value your glorious Islamic caliphate more than the value of saving a human life – regardless of one’s race, creed or nationality – then I suppose offering to bring the shovels, playing a complimentary round of golf, shouldn’t seem so obtuse after the treasonous betrayal known as Benghazi. Just do us all a favor and throw a little dirt on that Nobel Peace Prize too. Your victims of “acceptable apathy” want to give it a proper “prime time” burial.

About The Conservative Depot

The Conservative Depot, the official literary artillery of Xavier Keough, is dedicated to defending & promoting the timeless conservative ideals America was founded upon: individual liberty, limited government, God, hard work, accountability and duty. In the growing fog of progressive propaganda - class, race, gender & religious warfare - we're arming America with the truth because common sense never killed anyone!
