A Rainbow of Truth

Sorry, progressive terrorists, but under no earthly circumstance or hallucinogenic haze would have Jesus supported gay marriage; not even in your most deluded, history revisionist daydreams. Just because the Son of God preached love and forgiveness, not to supplant the divine hand of judgement, did not mean to ignore or condone the blatant blasphemy committed by those who repeatedly and knowingly defied God’s law. If the Bible itself, strongly and unequivocally, condemns homosexuality in a number of passages, how could it possibly be construed as Jesus supporting same-sex matrimony? Such an ignorant assertion is yet another progressive fairy tale and an outright shameless lie. Marriage, by definition, is a religious institution in Western Civilization – not ancient Mesopotamia, Etruscan folk art or the Inca Empire, mind you – and its Judeo-Christian doctrine does not somehow morph to magically appease your political beliefs or culturally current whims. That, my confused friends, is exactly why we have Civil Unions. Now does that mean gays do not have the right to live the lifestyle of their choosing? Of course not; for that is the very basis of liberty and tolerance; which by the way, is a two-way street. No one deserves to be the undue object of hate or violence and I truly abide by the heavenly command to ‘love thy neighbor’. It simply means you cannot alter reality and erase centuries of biblical precedence, American history, to realize only one rainbow speaks for God.
