If the new progressive GOP & Fox News exclude Donald Trump from a single debate, I’d immediately file for a third party candidacy to basically nullify their entire field. And yes, regardless whether or not he would have eventually secured the Republican nomination, I know exactly what that means…a guaranteed loss in 2016. Sorry but in my book having the integrity to stay true to one’s convictions, allowing everyone the opportunity to be judged solely according to the merits of their beliefs, far outweighs any latent desire to steer clear of undesirable controversy. Honestly, when were “We the People” no longer allowed or capable of deciding for ourselves? Although I do not always agree with Trump’s verbiage and coarse method of delivery – it’s not always what you say but how you frame it – he has almost single-handedly returned the spotlight of accountability to the hopelessly broken edifice known as Washington, DC. His rapid ascension to the top of the polls is by no means a carnival ride or cheap marketing gimmick; the man astutely ‘cannonballed’ though a glaring hole in the updated resume of the GOP to capture the pervasive discontent of party faithful. In other words, right-minded Americans are sick and tired of the once principled party of Reagan, the political platform I’ve unwaveringly supported for decades, demonizing conservatives, abandoning campaign promises, and consciously capitulating to the Obama agenda without refrain.
Unbeknownst to the Republican establishment, there are far worse fates than the inevitable public relations fallout from shutting down a rogue government in order to restore some semblance of order and sanity; that which includes, but is hardly limited to, funding the highly inept and unconstitutional socialist leviathan known as Obamacare, repeatedly raising the debt ceiling to the fiscal implosion of our markets, allowing Christians to be censored and persecuted for honoring their faith, subsidizing the inhumane activities of Planned Parenthood, granting illegal aliens safe harbor, and aiding and abetting our sworn enemies. Don’t ostracize men like like Mr. Trump for speaking the uncomfortable truth about illegal immigration or chastise Ted Cruz for labeling Mitch McConnell a liar and conniving child on the Senate floor, rather praise them for having the guts to stand-up and express what we all know to be true: conservatives have been sold-out by moderate Republicans in the name of political correctness. After all, it is not “conservative extremists” who must apologize for displaying the political fortitude of a wet paper towel in a hailstorm of corruption and waste. We’re merely trying to clean up the mess left by the spineless lapdogs squatting in the hallowed halls of our forefathers.
