The minute we learned the Orlando nightclub attack was Islamic terrorism, the left’s gun control narrative self-imploded. In fact, it was inexorably insulting. After all,”a gun” just doesn’t walk in and slaughter over 50 human beings without a trigger finger, a motive and any number of contributing factors. If we’re searching for actual answers, the 9/11 hijackers were Muslim, the Fort Hood gunman was Muslim, the Boston bombers were Muslim, the Chattanooga gunman was Muslim, the Paris assailants were Muslim, and the San Bernardino shooters were Muslim. Sorry, Mr. President, but I believe we have a Muslim problem. Can we stop their incessant aggression; or at the very least halt the reckless flow of thousands of unvetted refugees? Of course not, because you empower, empathize and recognize their cause as your own: to dismantle traditional America by any means necessary. Much like yourself, Mr. President, Islam is hate and hate breeds violence against any person or beacon of liberty that chooses tolerance, individuality, over forced subjugation. You’re the living embodiment of why the Second Amendment was created in the first place: to ensure our God-given right to defend ourselves against all forms of tyranny, both foreign and domestic.
Blaming guns for mass murders is like accusing cars of kidnapping drunk drivers. Until we somehow remember to respect our neighbor and value life, teach our children morals rather than brainwash them with soulless pop culture, the weapon of choice is moot. Better yet, it’s garnish for the logically impaired. Criminals rarely follow gun laws and will always find a way to unleash their hate. 9/11 is case in point…a terrorist plot carried out with nothing more than box cutters. When mass death is the objective you could drive a semi through a parade or public gathering and instantly kill hundreds without blinking an eye. Critics refuse to invoke morality, let alone God, because they’d rather exploit death for political gain, fulfilling a predisposed campaign agenda, than address the actual source of the problem: the rapid decay of our most basic societal norms and a glaring lack of respect for our fellow man.
I’m not foolishly claiming guns are the solution to all our problems, not by any means, but they’re a necessary liberty and viable defense in a world rife with crime, danger and tyranny…or better yet, human nature. Ultimately, these inanimate objects are only as “evil” as the souls pointing them. Accountability, America’s founding Judeo-Christian values aren’t revolutionary ideals; they’re abandoned ones in the name of “progress”. If Christians are evil bigots for merely opposing gay marriage or special privileges for “transgenders”, what’s it called when the fastest growing ideology preaches death to all homosexuals for merely existing? Perhaps if some politicians didn’t constantly preach class, race, and religious warfare, the world would be a better and safer place. How many more have to die before humanity accepts the truth? How long before Islam is held accountable and the civilized world, including our abetting President, demands the “religion of peace” reforms its most hateful tenets and violent practices? The American people are tired of waiting for the last vestiges of common sense to pull the trigger of logic.
